Workshop Details:Our commitment is to help children with CAS and related disorders to reach their full potential. The more knowledge and resources available to parents and professionals, the more effectively we can work together to maximize communication skills. This workshop will explain the current definition and core elements of CAS, challenges in diagnosis as well as principles of effective treatment. Emphasis will be placed on the nature and importance of speech practice, which involves partnership among parents, SLP's and school professionals. Resources will be suggested for monitoring and fostering progress in speech and related areas such as language and literacy. Questions will be welcomed.
Cost:$35.00 per participant
$28.00 (20% discount) for members of the practice
